Litigation & Dispute Resolution

We generally offer our clients a fixed legal fee arrangement, together with an installment or flexible payment plan, to enable clients to plan and manage their legal costs with certainty.

This arrangement allows clients to be informed, from the outset, of the total legal fees payable to the Firm and the agreed payment structure. All legal fees are discussed and mutually agreed upon between our counsel(s) and clients prior to engagement.

Our legal fees are generally determined based on, among others, the following factors:

• the time, labour, and skill required;
• the nature, complexity, novelty, and difficulty of the issues involved;
• the seniority and experience of the counsel(s) involved;
• the benefit derived by the client from the services rendered;
• the preparation and drafting of correspondence, pleadings, and other cause papers;
• the documents, evidence, and witnesses involved; and
• the legal research and other work required in relation to the particular matter.

Monthly Retainer Plans

We also offer monthly retainer plans for clients who require ongoing legal advice or opinions, or who may be exposed to potential legal disputes.

The scope of services and retainer fees are discussed and agreed upon between our counsel(s) and clients, depending on the nature and extent of services required. Clients on a monthly retainer plan may be eligible for special legal fee arrangements in the event that legal proceedings or disputes arise during the retainer period.
